Step1: Connect Metamask Automatically

Please visit and select the network you want to use.

Astar Network: Polkadot parachain

Shiden Network: Kusama parachain

When you have chosen your network, you can connect your wallet. The moment you select MetaMask it will automatically switch to our network.

Please make sure you add Astar Network to Metamask

Once you add our mainnet network to MetaMask, you will be able to see your MetaMask address on our portal.

You can also add Metamask manually. Please refer to our network details.Network DetailsAstar & Shiden documentation

Step2: Transfer ASTR/SDN from Polkadot.js to Metamask

The default Astar address is Polkadot native. Therefore, you need to transfer ASTR from Polkadot native address to Ethereum address. First, please log out the portal and log in with your Polkadot.js account.

Once you log in, you will be able to see your address and your ASTR/SDN on the portal. Please click transfer and fill out your Ethereum address.

That's it! You can now see your ASTR/SDN in your MetaMask wallet.
